What customers can see

  • Completed and incompleted steps (that aren't hidden)
  • The step messages and any attachments you've sent
  • The job due date (if set)
  • The job title

What customers cannot see

  • Hidden steps — these are completely invisible, even once completed
  • Internal team comments and activity
  • Team member names or assignees
  • Any internal notes or descriptions

The tracker is designed to give customers clarity and confidence — showing them progress without exposing your internal workflow.
