FoxTrak sends notifications for a wide range of job and business events. Here's a breakdown of what triggers what.

Job events (all team members)

  • Job created
  • Step completed
  • Comment posted
  • Step edited
  • Attachment uploaded
  • Job description changed
  • Due date changed
  • Job assigned to you
  • Step assigned to you
  • Customer approval received
  • Customer feedback received
  • Payment received

Admin-only events

  • Team member added or removed
  • Billing changes
  • Job overdue
  • Integration failures (Xero, Stripe)
  • Security events

Always-on notifications

@mentions always trigger a notification regardless of your other notification settings - you can't miss being directly mentioned.

You can turn any of these on or off individually in Settings → Notifications.
