SMS quota and limits
FoxTrak includes a monthly SMS quota depending on your plan. SMS messages are sent when you update a customer who has a phone number on their job.
SMS quota by plan
- Free — 0 SMS per month
- Essentials — 0 SMS per month
- Professional — 100 SMS per month
- Business — 300 SMS per month
Tracking your usage
Go to Settings → Billing & Plans to see a usage progress bar showing how many SMS you've used this month. The bar turns yellow at 70% and red at 90% to give you advance warning.
Your quota resets on the same date each month — the reset date is shown next to the usage bar.
What happens when you hit the limit
Once your SMS quota is exhausted, future SMS sends will fail. Email updates are unaffected — customers with email addresses will still receive updates normally.
If you're regularly hitting your SMS quota, consider upgrading your plan or encouraging customers to use email as their primary contact method.
